The Terrace

Really great little cafe that serves wonderful roast beef. This is the third or fourth time we've been there and it's always good. They have a simple set menu where you can choose either stew or various sizes of roast beef. You can also choose your bread to go with the soup. I had herb oil bread which was delicious with the pumpkin soup. The large cut of roast beef was a good size and the accompanying baked cheese and mashed potatoes was excellent. Had a good amount of horseradish, but not terribly hot/spicy. The salad and melon with Parma ham starter were also very good. The Parma ham is aged for 2 years and has a good, rich flavour. The salad was very fresh and had a nice balsamic vinegar dressing. Finally, the apple pie and ice cream was delicious. Highly recommended.

Food was great, the staffs were very helpful. I had my anniversary with my girlfriend here and the staff helped me prepare a surprise. It was late and there was a festival nearby when we finished so there were no taxis and bus available, one of the staff personally drove us to the station. Very nice I highly recommend this place.

I come every year for my birthday. The place is beautiful especially at night, the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Excellent service with an accommodating staff; the food was fairly priced, and absolutely delicious. The view is a must-have in kobe; excellent for a night time dinner service.
